CHARLTON — Keep Charlton Beautiful Committee approves minutes, plans fall plantings with Charlton Garden Club. Chair Debbie Marquis reported $14 in Earth Day Festival sales and said she will order a terracotta water barrel for Town Hall display. Members Kathleen Walker and Catherine Jolicoeur plan to attend the Selectmen's meeting on May 12 to discuss the nips campaign and tire dumping concerns.
Meghan Hammond will investigate food waste reduction programs at the Senior Center and public schools, including potential pickup by local livestock farmers. The committee is coordinating Zero Waste Days, clothing swaps, and repair events to be promoted through press releases.
