Planning Board denies site plan waiver for metal pod structures on Route 20

CHARLTON — Planning Board requires full site plan submittal for Moreland Realty metal pod structures on Route 20 despite applicant's waiver request. Chair Bill Fontaine presided as the board unanimously rejected the waiver, approved Approval-Not-Required subdivisions for JDH Realty Trust and Dzik, and extended the Cayer Multi-Family Special Permit at Trolley Crossing Road to March 14, 2027. The board continued five items pending additional applicant submissions and information, including the Villages Multi-Family Units public hearing to March 18, 2026.

Members also approved the 2025 Planning Board Annual Report and scheduled continued zoning bylaw and master plan RFP review for the March 4, 2026 meeting.
