Library Trustees approve staff time off and two board vacancies emerge

Charlton Library Trustees unanimously approved additional staff time off in 2026-27. Director Betsy P. requested December 26, 2026 and January 2, 2027 as paid days off due to anticipated low attendance, and the Board granted both. The Trustees also unanimously reapproved Julia Westwell Cornell and Harry Manuel to the Charlton Public Library Community Technology Fund.
Two trustees, Fiona R. and Sheri W., declined to seek re-election, leaving two seats open on the five-member Board.
