Charlton Conservation Commission Approves Orders of Conditions for Nine Projects at December Meeting
CHARLTON — December 3, 2025 — Charlton Conservation Commission closes nine public hearings in single December session. The commission voted unanimously on all items at its December 3 meeting, issuing orders of conditions for projects at 78 Glen Echo Shore Road, 211 Sunset Drive, 6 Sullivan Road, 216 Orchard Hill Road, 79 Baker Pond Road, 45 Lakeview Drive, and three consecutive lots on North Sullivan Road owned by PMZ Development LLC. The commission also issued a negative determination with special conditions for a home addition at 96 Old Spencer Road, approved amended orders of conditions for Zero North Main Street and 22 Glen Echo Shore Drive following a state DEP appeal and a drainage improvement request respectively, and issued certificates of compliance for two open file numbers at 78 Stevens Park Road. A staff member noted the 211 Sunset Drive shoreline project "must be completed by February 1st" before lake levels rise. The commission also opened discussion of a hunting policy for town-owned land and voted unanimously to appoint a commission member identified as Allen to the Fay Mountain Farm Committee, satisfying a selectmen's requirement for two commission representatives on that body as an RFP for a new farm manager is being drafted.
