CHARLTON — Water Sewer Commission reorganizes and approves consultant renewal. The Commission unanimously re-elected Robert Coleman as Chair and Thomas Coleman as Vice Chair, with Emmanuel Asenso as Clerk. The Commission approved renewal of consultant Vincent Masterson's contract for the coming fiscal year and appointed Stefanie Beckett as Executive Assistant pending background clearance.

The panel voted unanimously to authorize a backflow preventor installation on an Ash Road property after sewage backed up during a Vine Street pump station high wet well event. The Commission set a Water Connection Privilege Fee of $44,783.03 for 9 City Depot Road and discussed cross-connection contamination at the treatment plant that was remediated by McClure Engineering with backflow preventors and pipe labeling.
