CHARLTON — The Charlton Water/Sewer Commission unanimously approved a restructured staffing model after the retirement of Cheryl Fairbrother, returning to a previous organizational design. The commission, led by Chair Robert Coleman and Vice Chair Thomas Coleman, approved the Executive Assistant job description immediately and tabled the Water/Sewer Superintendent position for final action at the March 4 meeting. The commission also voted unanimously to establish a formal policy governing how faulty meter accounts are handled during the billing cycle, with Vincent Masterson assigned to draft the framework for the next meeting.
