Charlton Water-Sewer Commission approves digitization trial and meter installer coverage. The commission unanimously authorized a two-week trial run of a sewer records digitization project, hiring a temporary employee at $250 per day to scan and organize account folders into digital files with town system backup. Plumbing and Gas Inspector Peter Starkus was appointed as a Special Town Employee to continue performing water meter installations at $70 to $80 per installation, enabling him to be covered under town insurance.

The commission also unanimously approved warrants totaling $12,371.05 and senior abatements of $859.36.
