Charlton Select Board approves four financial policies and fills two committee vacancies. The board unanimously adopted procurement, real estate disposition, real estate acquisition, and surplus item disposition policies presented by Town Administrator Andrew M. Golas.

Earlyne Murray was unanimously appointed to the Council on Aging through June 30, 2028, replacing resigned member Diane O'Regan; five residents were unanimously appointed to the Bylaw Review Committee as full members, with two designated alternates. The board also unanimously authorized Friends of Scout Troop 338 to conduct a toll road fundraiser on February 7 or 15, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., subject to police-approved safety precautions including bright vests, traffic cones, and warning signs.
