Recreation Commission approves portable toilets, soccer schedule, Earth Day donation.

Charlton Recreation Commission unanimously backs spring readiness and donations. The three-member board approved placement of three portable toilet permits at recreation sites for the first week of April 2026, authorized contact with the highway department to place a pickleball bin at Charlton Middle School by April 1st, and donated $200 to the Earth Day Committee. Chair Sheri Zanca requested the board delay approval of a Roots Soccer Academy request to use Memorial Field pending confirmation of other league schedules, with a decision expected by April.
Randy LeBlanc's soccer league will use Maynard Field Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., April through end of June for spring season and Memorial C Field the same schedule August 24th through early November for fall season.
