CHARLTON — Old Home Day Committee approves flyer deadline and time capsule plan. Chair Kathleen Walker reported finances at $19,605.91 as of June 2, with $1,435 in donations and $475 in vendor fees recorded; the committee voted unanimously to complete promotional materials by July 1. The committee addressed bouncy house replacement, parade logistics including the Wore Pipes & Drums Fire Brigade at $1,000, and Soap Box Derby preparations.

A new 50-year time capsule project was introduced, with committee members proposing contents ranging from photographs and 2026 menus to iPhones and vacuumed-sealed fried dough to reflect the era.
