Historical Commission approves postcard mailing plan and storage timeline

Historical Commission · Meeting of February 2, 2026

CHARLTON — Historical Commission greenlights postcard distribution and art restoration funding plan. Members Rebecca Jha, Suzanne Hall, and Susan Streeter approved a $76.05 reimbursement to Hall for postcard expenses and authorized use of the town mailing list supplemented by zoning overlay addresses for distribution. The commission agreed to place a warrant article on the October town ballot to fund remaining art restoration projects, with artwork to remain in a town-owned building.

An attic space has been approved for storage of commission materials, with members tasked to develop an organizational timeline.
