Fire Substation Building Committee approves $76,374.67 in change orders

CHARLTON — Fire Substation Building Committee approves $76,374.67 in change orders and contractor payment. The committee unanimously authorized Change Order Number 12 encompassing six proposals, including $16,940.06 for VES system updates, $34,689.82 for tech revisions, and $11,127.25 for fire-rated separation modifications, according to Krysta Levandowski. The committee also approved Pay Requisition 12 totaling $440,902.90.
The project is approximately 42 percent complete with expenditures of $7,807,631 and a remaining balance of $10,692,370. Committee member Rob Barton requested additional review of front porch fire sprinkler design following discussion of Building Commissioner recommendations.
