Conservation Commission orders stormwater cleanup at 253 Worcester Road

Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 25, 2026

Charlton Conservation Commission issues enforcement order on six-acre clearing at 253 Worcester Road. Conservation Director Rose Conway reported the site remains unstabilized with exposed soils months after the clearing and recommended the order under the Town's Stormwater Bylaw and Chapter 175. Peter Capuano moved to issue the enforcement order and hire an outside consultant to monitor; Ed Nowak seconded, and the motion passed.

The commission also continued multiple wetland hearings to April 15 and approved a three-year permit extension for City Depot Road.
