CHARLTON — Community Center Feasibility Committee advances $11.7 million Senior Center plan for October town vote. The Senior and Community Center Feasibility Committee approved an $11.7 million renovation plan for the Dresser Hill property, rejecting a proposed Town Hall renovation due to concerns about access, parking, space limitations, and additional costs. The committee, led by Chair Patricia Stockwell, is advancing the proposal to the Select Board for possible inclusion in the October Town Meeting warrant.

Fundraising efforts include a planned pancake breakfast and an Old Home Day table. A public online survey has been published on the Friends of Charlton Senior Center Facebook page to gauge community interest.
