Charlton senior center committee establishes April 1 deadline for initiative. The Community Center Feasibility Committee set the deadline for completing assessments, marketing materials, and documentation needed to submit a warrant question for a May 18 town meeting vote on the proposed senior and community center. Bruce reported he is working on 501c3 articles of organization and bylaws for a Friends group and has recruited five board members.
Pat will compile senior household lists from the town clerk, Michelle from the Council on Aging will provide 2025 usage statistics, and Hank will develop a Charlton-specific PowerPoint presentation using the Ayer Senior Center as a template. The committee also agreed to produce video interviews with current senior center users through the town's cable access channel.
