CHARLTON — Bylaw Review Committee approves amendments and increases penalty provision. Chair Joseph Haebler led the committee through reviews of multiple bylaw sections, with members Denise Renaud, Mike Kavorkian, Kathleen Walker, and Brad Howard voting unanimously to approve amendments including a change from a $20 fine to not more than $300. Town Administrator Andrew Golas was assigned to review Employee Chapters 1, 5, 15, and 30 for compliance with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 41.
The committee will continue its bylaw review with Chapter 20 at its June 17 meeting.
