Charlton Board of Health joins state Naloxone program for community distribution. The board was approved as an affiliate of the state's community program, enabling free distribution of overdose-reversal kits to residents with no name requirement. Initial supply is 144 kits with two doses each, fentanyl test strips, and instructions.
Chair Matt Gagner suggested distributing through school nurses, emphasizing the initiative aims to prevent overdose deaths.
