CHARLTON — Board of Assessors approves 25-year residential solar exemption. Chair Nancy E. Landry moved unanimous approval of a property-tax exemption under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 59, Section 5, Clause 45, covering all rooftop and ground-mount residential solar facilities in Charlton producing no more than 125 percent of a property's annual electricity consumption, including installations on commonly owned contiguous or non-contiguous parcels.

Brett Moore seconded. The board also unanimously approved October meeting minutes and congratulated Moore for completing his Division of Local Services online certification course.
